Favorite person’s shirts, pants blanket whatever that smell smells like them and yes, keep the scent fresh. But the most important thing is the litter box. That has brought many lost cats home. Going out late at night, calling their name, putting out their favorite food and treats and sitting and waiting.

Be sure to hang owners' dirty shirts outside in the WIND daily to keep the SMELL strong... they can follow that smell over 4 miles around. Make sure area animal shelters (Granbury and Weatherford shelters) know the pet is lost, and have your correct phone number. Pets lose collars and tags, so hang flyers & posters in area where lost, in case finder is NOT on facebook, and never sees this photo. If cat has a MICROCHIP, notify chip company that it is lost, and confirm that your correct phone number is registered (again). Repost on all of the FREE stuff in zip code where the cat was lost: Nextdoor .com / the Ring app / PetFBi .org -- if they still have cat's dirty litter box, put it outside in the wind, too... My cat was lost a whole month, so don't give up !!
