So sorry you lost your baby! He probably joined up with one of the flocks of other local parrots. At least they will show him where to find food and shelter in bad weather. Loose birds are known to seek out other birds. It would be wonderful if he wound up in someone's yard one day. Never give up hope. Did he have another friend in your house he hung out with? If so, you could try putting the other bird in a cage outside for a short while (keeping a close eye on the cage for cats). Good luck to you! 💔🙏🏻

All of the lost parrots from LA fly to San Diego. The weather is warm and there’s lots of food available. You can see flocks of them there

Look in the local Hollywood skies, your parrot & my cockatiel have joined their respective flocks of domesticated birds that have newfound freedom. I am so sorry, he won't be coming back anytime soon.
