Look at your local pet hospital and sanctuary I found my bird there.

I had the same bird and same bad experience. He's either flown or stolen. Most likely stolen

This comment is a response to Deborah W. Unfortunately, Boo Boo had not been outside and I don’t think knew how to forage. We never heard or saw him again once he got out. We leafleted all over the neighborhood, talked to people, used the Internet. Obviously, I think the worst, but I hope, as you suggest, maybe someone took him in and didn’t realize his owners were looking for him, or somehow he is out there in the world. It is a dream I have. Our only (faint) hope now is that someone, somewhere might see or hear him, and realize it might be Boo Boo. Thanks to everyone for keeping an eye and ear out.
