Message from Owner

Sam was last seen around 9.30am this morning before there was an open home at our rental. He normally hides during these until they are over. He spends his days hanging out in the back yard and around the hse with our dog before coming in for dinner. We've spent the last 3hrs calling for him and have searched the hse, yard, caravan and car from top to bottom so he isn't on the property. We've driven around the local streets also and have been unable to locate him. This is very out of the ordinary for him, he never spends the entire day out of the hse. He's quite skittish around strangers

Sadly there's still no sign of my boy Sam. It's been over 24hrs since we last seen him. He's desexed. I've called the emergency vet in case he was taken there, i spent all last night every hour or so going out to call for him. I even messaged the real estate agent to ask if he or anyone at the open home yesterday had seen him or noticed anything. I've searched every corner of the house and yard (even the washing machine and dishwasher I'm that desperate). We're on King St, near the corner of Duke St and backing on to Reign St. Please call or message me 0473 176 822 of you think you've seen him or are hearing meows from somewhere

This boy doesn't venture anywhere but home, I hope he is found. I rescued him as a kitten and he is beyond loved by the owner.

Also leave door ajar if it is safe to do so as sometimes they will return themselves… make up little flyers and put them in peoples mailboxes to check their sheds as some people don’t have social media 🤞🤞

Knock on neighbours doors and put out flyers everywhere. Do offer rewards. Also go out in the night. You can hear him better then. Check the pounds too. Airtags on collars help greatly.

😿😿so 💔🙏🙏ing that your precious Sam’s found and home soon and safe. Try calling softly and rattling food dawn/dusk, checking vets, pounds, putting posters up, l/box drops, checking neighbours, putting their litter tray out apparently they can smell it for miles. Someone also suggested putting a piece of hot chook out with a piece of your clothing. If home and if not pls chip, desex cat fights can be costly not to mention unwanted litters and keep inside or an enclosure. Shared.

Hopefully hiding nearby. Night time walks are super important 🌙
