Hey just saw your post on paw boost. I haven’t spotted your cat but I have a few tips as I also lost my cat. Leave cat litter around the are where you lost your cat. Keep food evryday there, put the wet food they know and the litter they know in that area. the cat will smell it and stay there. They don't really move around and are very smart about an area so if they get lost they know where the house is. Keep looking for the cat (night time is the best). I lost my cat for two weeks, she was within 10 feet of where she got lost and i eventually found her by seeing a black cat running into the bushes and yelling out her name. They might not come out even if they recognize your voice because they are so scared, so just keep looking everyday.

When I lost my baby. I put everything I possibly could with my scent and his. No litter box that attracts predators. I walked around the neighbourhood with treats more than twice a day calling his name. I put up a camera I had on my porch, thankfully he came every night but I could never catch him (he was too skittish). I had to trick him inside by luring him in my hallway with my front door open. My baby was gone for about 11 days or more. They come around night time when it’s quiet, especially if they’re skittish. The problem is they won’t walk right up to you because they’re so scared. Your baby will be close and don’t give up hope. If you can, try and get an outdoor cat bed with (I cant remember if it’s straw or hay) so that if he comes back at night he has somewhere warm. I wish you all the best. He’s out there! I want to add that my cat wasn’t an outdoor cat and was scared of everyone. I always left out food and water, just in case.
