Cutie Pie is Missing in Merced, CA

Description

Small female cat about 2 years old, white face, chest & legs & blackish head, ears, back & tail. She is spay & was wearing a pink collar as shown in photo when last seen.

I last saw my little kitty, Cutie Pie on February 23, 2026 in the back yard of our , where she spent most of her time playing with her brothers & sisters & we have been hoping for her to return since. She generally stayed in our front & back yard, but would occasionally explore neighboring yards over the fence. She always stayed close to & returned numerous times a day for food & cuddles, so I can't imagine how she would go missing unless she was trapped & confined, removed to new area or injured. I still hope someone might know what has happened to her & where she is, & hopefully is taking good care of her. She is missed by myself & her litter mates & we want her back, but also want to know she is okay. Since Cutie Pie didn't generally stray far from our or yard, it makes it very strange for her to suddenly come up missing. I have had 5 cats go missing in the past 5 months which has been agonizing & suspect someone is trapping animals in my neighborhood. I would appreciate any information anyone might have concerning the trapping of animals, especially cats in my area & not releasing them. I'm hoping to find put what has happened to all of my missing pets & where I can go to look for them. Please help if you can with information or the recovery of my cat(s).
