Found this dog early Monday morning, 8/3 on street behind Kroc Center. We have hung dozens of posters in the Liberty Bowl/Kroc area and nearby coffee shops, vets, and businesses. We took him to vet to have his chip read and to receive medical attention. Unfortunately the contact info on his chip wasn’t valid (phone number disconnected and no email response). At the vet, he tested NEGATIVE for heartworm and intestinal parasites, and he was vaccinated for rabies and got a few other recommended vaccines. He was given medicine for flea, tick and heartworm prevention, and we have bathed him a few times using shampoo from vet for his itchy, flea-allergic bites. He’s very gentle and trusting, and is not reactive to other dogs or cats. He is probably arthritic but his mobility has improved since he’s been in our care. Vet estimates age as 9-10 years. Please help us find a person willing to foster or adopt this sweet boy!
