This cat was my 16th birthday present that I had begged for for almost 10 years. I had only had him adopted and in my home for only 3 days. He meant the absolute world to me and I’d do anything to reunite with my baby again.

More tips...is he Microchipped? If so notify the company that he is missing and make sure your contact info is up to date. Blanket your neighborhood with big bright flyers and ask people to search garages and sheds and parked vehicles like RV'S and other places where he could have gotten trapped inside. If he is not used to being outside then he is probably hunkered down hiding somewhere close by. Post on other places like Nextdoor and Craigslist too. Keep searching and spreading the word.

Getting a humane trap is very important part of finding a lost cat. The cats are typically close by but hiding and scared to come around. Set up a trap baited with smelly food outside the exit where he escaped. You can borrow a humane trap from a shelter like Hermitage or Pacc and they will show you how to use it. Keep searching tho on foot under between behind and inside all areas around your property and your neighbors with a flashlight to reflect eyes and a treat bag to shake. Don't give up, be positive and proactive!

Be careful of scammers targeting lost and found pages never give money up front to anyone who says they have your cat or can find him or pressure you to buy a device or Drone service and never agree to meet anyone alone. They now even use AI images of supposedly your cat, even posing as vet clinics or animal control agencies. No valid lead or agency requires money up front.

HELP FIND DUSTY!!! He is a very sweet kitty, and was last seen in the wash behind a home in N Via Laguna Niguel, believed to be heading towards Ina.
