Do not listen to the above person. This advice has worked plenty of times for others over the past decade of me offering this advice and suggested by others who track animals and have never the entire time had a report of attracting other animals. In fact, it keeps other animals away because it marks the area. Ignore the post by this person.

Escaped cats often hide close to home but may be too scared to come when called. Be sure to check all possible hiding spots around the outside of your home. If you go out after dark, you can use a flashlight to check for kitty eyeshine. Also, post on Nextdoor. Good luck! 🍀

Kevin Maclary It is strongly recommended to not put a litterbox or litter outside as that will attract dominate cats and possibly predators(there are coyotes here) which will keep your cat away and could put it in danger. Only put out items with owner's scent on them outside such as towels or tshirts or socks- much safer. Never litterbox or litter!
