Good afternoon. I have not confirmed this with my brother yet, but I am happy to announce ( per multiple reports from our amazing neighbors) that Jake and Blue have been recovered healthy and alive as of this morning ! I want to extend my gratitude to all of the people who were involved with the search efforts, it’s nice to know that we are part of a community that cares. Blue, the golden retriever, is my dog and my parents are doing me the favor of housing them while I’m in the military since I’m always on the move. It hurts my heart every time I hear that they have escaped. Additionally, accountability is something that has to be addressed on our part. This was not the first time they have escaped, however it was the longest time they have gone missing. I want it to be the last. They keep on escaping through gaps and divots where the fence facing the road and the fence facing the pond intersects. We have tried our best to block off that location, but they keep getting through - any ideas on what we could do to address this ?
