Message from Owner

PLEASE HELP US BRING ZEPHYR HOME 🩶 Our sweet Zephyr is missing, and we are absolutely devastated. He isn't just our cat—he is my baby and a huge part of our family. Zephyr is the sweetest, most affectionate little guy. He follows me everywhere, sleeps curled up on my chest, makes biscuits on my neck, holds my hand with his paw when he sleeps, and is basically my little gray shadow. Our home feels completely wrong without him here. My child and I have been heartbroken and searching for him nonstop. He's a young solid gray/blue short-haired male with greenish eyes. He is neutered and very loved. He may be frightened and hiding and might not come when called, even though he is normally incredibly affectionate. We've searched the neighborhood and posted everywhere we can think of, but we need more eyes looking for him. Please check your garages, sheds, underneath decks and porches, bushes, crawl spaces, and anywhere a scared cat could have gotten trapped or hidden. Even if you think you've already looked, please take another quick look. If you've seen a gray cat recently—even if you aren't sure it was him—PLEASE contact me. A camera sighting, a direction he was traveling, anything could help us bring our boy home. Please share this. We just want our Zephyr back where he belongs—curled up on my chest with his family. 🩶 WE MISS YOU, ZEPHYR. PLEASE COME HOME, BABY.

What to do if you lose your Cat 1. Search all places inside and around your house as cats can hide in small places. 2. Shake their treat bag and softly call their name. 3. Search at dusk and dawn with a flashlight as the light will pick up their eyes. Outside they tend to hide under shrubs, under porches, in open sheds & drainage ditches. You can shake their treats while looking outside too. 4. Put something with your scent on it outdoors, on a porch or deck if possible or in a garage with the door cracked. Sometimes the scent brings them home. You can also put out their litter box but depending on where you live, it could attract predators. 5. Post on nextdoor & Ring Neighbors app. 6. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 7. Make a lost pet report to all the local shelters especially in areas that have close boundaries. 8. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups 9. Post on PetFBI site and use .org as the ending. 10. If chipped, report to chip company but don’t forget to change status when your cat is found. 11. Ask your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. Your cat may be coming around the house late at night.
