~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… Someone may have him thinking he was abandoned… Someone may have a camera that captured something… Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… If the dog is microchipped, call the company ASAP … Report you animal missing to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters. Shared with many prayers
I can’t tell anyone here status about this cat, as I’ve left the area now. What I can tell you is that a friend of mine told me that clipped ear is a sign that this cat is being taken care of by somebody. Some towns will capture feral cats and have them vaccinated and spayed or neutered. Once complete they return to the person taking care of them, but they will clip their ear first. So while this cat was at house that is a vacation home someone must be taking care of it.
It could be the same cat. Ear looks the same. I’m not sure though. Also we left the vacation home so I don’t know if the cat is still there. Good luck! I hope you find it!
