Is Obi Wan neutered? Is he an indoor cat? *Take a flashlight and look anywhere he could hide - under houses, porches, steps, behind shrubbery and any OUTBUILDINGS/SHEDS he could have gotten closed up in. The flashlight will reflect his eyes *Put some recently worn clothing outside the door, something with your scent on it, like dirty socks *Look UP trees in case something chased him *Check with neighbors, especially those who have cats *Go out early mornings and late evenings when it's quiet to call and LISTEN for him. If he's scared or unwell, he may not respond immediately to being called, but he may 'answer' you *BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR VEHICLES! Cats will seek out the warmth of vehicle engines. Look under the hood and in the wheel wells *Put out BRIGHTLY COLORED signs in the area with his picture and your contact info on them. Not everyone is on social media and the signs will be visible to kids, neighbors and delivery people *Look near sources of water *Check all other Lost/Found sites, including community pages and Nextdoor. Some people will post on one and not others *Check any drain pipes, anything he could have fallen into *Keep a porch or garage door slightly open so he can get in, and check any security cameras you might have to see if he's showing up at night or when you're not home *Be sure to check at PAWS, IN PERSON and often. Don't depend on phone calls. *Check with vets in the area in case he was brought in with an injury or to be scanned for a chip I hope you find him soon! 🙏🏻
