Message from Owner

He showed up at my hse as a stray cat, and he didn’t have any survival skills at all. I don’t think he has what it takes to make it out there and he’s not real friendly with strangers either so please if anyone sees him let me know I’m worried about him. He’s 15 years old.

Get bright colored posters for making signs from Dollar stores or Walmart. Get this up asap at intersections and put one in your yard. These are the number #1 tool for reuniting pets as not everyone is on social media or know about these sites. Also quickly print up fliers and pass out to area neighbors & give one to your mail carrier & nearby vets. ✅ pet signs Suggestions on signs. “We cannot emphasize this enough - SIGNS are one of the best ways to locate a Lost Pet or Find An Owner.” https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/neon-posters/

Leave your garage door up just enough that your cat can safely get back inside. Put items with your scent on it outside such as towels or tshirts or socks. Never put litter or litterbox as those can attract dominate cats and possibly predators which will keep your cat away and could put it in danger.

Go outside every evening and early morning shaking cat treats, clanging food bowls calling for your kitty. At night use a flashlight( this will reflect their eyes if hiding) to check shrubbery, hedges, lower tree limbs, and around anything your cat could hide under. Be sure to have your neighbors check their garages, sheds, under car hoods, etc.

Please also have your neighbors check their outside security cameras to see what area your pet may be seen in.

Please contact Space Coast Feline Network 321-345-8262 so he can be trapped and helped. Not safe for any cats to be outside- especially older cats or light colored which will stand out to predators.
