Everyone asking for an update. I called animal control, Cleveland police multiple times. The dog would try to run when approached and would growl. I waited till 1am. A very sweet girl came with food and water and tried to help. I left around 1. She stayed about an hour after I left and also tried to get the dog but it growled at her as well. Police never came after 3.5 hours. I hate that I had to leave the dog but this dog was not approachable and would not let anyone get close sadly. Maybe it’s been abused but it did not like people. Sadly I didn’t have anything to catch the dog and would not get close enough based on warning growls. I’ve been bit by a dog and did not want to put myself in a situation to be attacked. As an animal lover I am heartbroken to leave…. But I had to also know when to call it.
