I literally had to make this comment under someone post who found my pup wandering . I literally get so discouraged from even posting my pup when she digs a hole under my fence and gets out. It irritates me how ppl can be so rude and not offer to help fix the fence for her... just offer unwanted questions its annoying. Nothing to do with helping find the pup...

Mona France maybe for the owner its a lesson learned. I get what you're saying but really all we can do is offer assistance to those who rent or own but don't have the means to secure the yard. I swear if we had more people willing to pick up a screwdriver and wood, less dogs would get out and face the big bad world of cars, people and predators.

Not throwing any shade to the owner. I hope what I saw was correct and this baby was reunited with the owner. This is to all lost dog owners, check your fence line, you don't have to put up a new fence (unless it's called for), small escape areas can be dealt with wood, screws, whatever it takes. I fostered a shelter dog and then adopted him knowing he's an escape artist. Watch your dog and learn their thoughts. I could see this boy looking for an escape. Even neutered, he's a wanderer. Adopted him anyways and chased him down the street a few times. It's a challenge. But it's a challenge worth winning. Keep your babies safe from predators (human or animal), it's our responsibility. That's a sweet baby.

I’m so glad you have your dog back. Kansas Humane Society sells ID tags for only $5 please look into getting one. Those come handy in situations as these. Also if not microchipped Amy Hartman sells microchips for $15
