Very skinny seemingly young German shepherd

Message from Finder

My husband found this dog while doing tree work deep in the woods. In the Townsend, Wears Valley area. He is skiddish but friendly. VERY skinny. Been in the woods a long time from the looks of it. We will be taking him to see if he has a microchip but also sharing here in the meantime

Emily Harvey-Bice thank your husband for helping this beautiful dog. Once he settles, he will be devoted to someone special for saving him. German Shepherd's are so loyal.

This breaks my heart. Hope the owners are found if he's truly lost and not dumped.

Jeannine Dunn honestly I’m worried bc of where he was found and how he acts as soon as my husband gets in his vehicle to leave that he was dumped

Emily Harvey-Bice I can’t remember how long ago but there was a German shepherd dumped on the parkway. That could be him. People were trying to catch him. I don’t know what ever happened. I hope this boy is just lost and you found him and can get him back to his family. Thank you for taking care of him! 💗
