If your kitty is missing, they often don't go far. Leave out warm/cold water and food in a clear storage bin turned on its side, post fliers (try wired ground signs). Check at dawn & dusk or after dark with a flashlight. Quietly look under bushes/decks/cars for eyeshine & movement, call them softly and listen -have treats ready. Check the area from where they were lost & put out/hang unwashed items that smell like you/them -scent carries. Call into the storm drains -sound echoes. Consider sprinkling litter around the perimeter of your yard. Look in sheds & crawl spaces, especially if you or a neighbor has had work done recently or one has been left open. You could try repositioning security cameras if you have any to see if you spot them after dark. You could also try a humane trap, available on Amazon. Not hard to use - just don’t leave it open & set for hours without checking it, or overnight if not being watched. Leave a heating pad on low in a crate/box if cold at night. Post fliers, send pic & info to local vets & animal control, &, if microchipped, make sure info is up to date & they are marked as lost/missing. Look for sites on Facebook or elsewhere to post – county animal control groups often have pages where you can post. Note that leaving out litter &/or food in multiple places could be both confusing & attract other cats/animals, so do as you feel appropriate. Praying they stay safe & are home soon.

Consider reaching out to ‘ Fur recovery team ’’ on Facebook they offer comprehensive search and recovery services for lost pets.I recommended their services because they have a compassionate and dedicated team that will help you find your missing pet.

**Watch out for the IG posts on here, they are spam.** If you haven’t already, please post on the Next Door app for additional visibility in neighborhood and local area where lost. Sending lots of prayers for a quick and safe return of your sweet kitty! Don’t give up. Keep sharing online and in neighborhood, and keep searching by foot. Mr Fungus is most likely scared and hiding nearby! Ask your neighbors to check under decks, porches, and sheds, and inside garages, as well. Hang in there! 🐈❤️🙏

We saw one.like this although seemed thinner walking in the back parking lot of Mexico restaurant yesterday near Publix on Forest Hill. That’s not too far from Cherokee. I hope you find him!

I recommend "petdronerescue " on Instagrm to you. They track both pets and livestocks with chip and those that are not. They found and brought back my Ziko.
