Description

Shadow is a black and white, spayed female female cat that's typically skittish toward strangers She's approximately 10 years old and extremely quick and elusive. She is no longer wearing the collar shown in her photo. She came into my life literally when I was very sick with COVID and a number of successive illnesses, so she's special and I miss her terribly. I've been searching for nearly five weeks, and so far there hasn't even been a confirmed sighting. I’m offering $300 to anyone who finds and safely returns her. Please help bring her home.

Message from Owner

We last saw her last Thursday. At the time she seemed fine, and we didn't notice any signs of illness or injury in the days leading up to her disappearance.

A friend of mine, went from Mississippi to Tennessee to visit her family. They were outside looking over his property, and my friend spied a cat that looked like hers. She said to him” oh you have a cat that looks like mine”, he replied, “I don’t have a cat”… that WAS her cat that had gotten under her car, and rode all the way to Tennessee! Strange things happen! I hope that’s not the case with your cat. Maybe someone has taken her in thinking she was a stray. Don’t give up! All people aren’t on FB, but hopefully they’ll see your beautiful signs. I share, and I’m always on the look out on Broadwater, Palmer and neighboring streets.

Jonathan Hilbun I had an older but small black cat go missing a few years ago. I tried calling her, putting out food, checking the humane society etc. Being small and black we figured the worst. One night about 9 months later I was still calling her and heard a faint meow. She was thin and her pads were torn and she had been shot with a pellet but the vet checked her over and she was basically fine. Never did find out where she had been but anyway, my point is to tell you to never give up hope. Just keep your post active too. Prayers and hoping for her safe return home to you. 🙏🫂

Karen McMillan, thank you very much. It’s been nearly five weeks, and I’m emotionally exhausted. Still hoping though.

Sheila Sumrall, thank you for the suggestion. I've tried that and everything else. So far I haven't even gotten a confirmed sighting anywhere, and it's been over a month.
