TIPS TO FIND CATS Tips:: <<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Indoor cats hide in 50 meter radius. I found my cat at night with powerful flashlight, some cat food with me and using "Cat Magnet: Find missing Cat" app. I hope it works for you too. <<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>> • search between the hours of 3 and 5 a.m. • bring a flashlight to look for reflection of eyes in bushes, under cars, etc. • Ask neigbors to check garages • put up a sign on your lawn with photo. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>> Here are a few things you can try. Cats usually don’t go far. They just hide well. Cats are very active at dusk and dawn. So first of all you can go out and call for him. You can put his food/water, and lots of cat nip outside your house to help draw him back. Also, put your cat's bedding that has your cat's scent on it outside to attract your cat back to your home. Also putting your own unwashed clothes or bedding out . Cats run on scent and this is highly effective in luring your cat back home , as it's a comfortable and familiar smell. However unaltered felines can wander up to TWO MILES! . Two miles is a long long way for a kitty to travel alone..... 🤷🏻‍♀️ Check garages, especially under porches and decks, dense bushes, etc. Also leave your garage door up enough for them to get under. Get one of those strong flashlights they will catch a cat's reflective eyes two blocks away and save you tons of time!!! Do not leave the food out overnight as it will attract other animals that can scare the kitty away. Go to your neighbors and let them know your kitty got out and give them your contact info. Walk your neighborhood and talk to people as you can. Take a flyer TO your local vets office and shelter a face is better than a thousand words of description and check every couple of days in person if possible Actually go to the shelter and check. Sometimes it can take weeks or months to find your kitty. Many times cats are found within a couple hundred feet of their homes. Post fliers around your neighborhood with your phone number that people can call day or night. And talk to your mail carrier. They see lots of animals. If they see a strange kitty around, they may recognize it as yours. Make sure you call local animal shelters, etc Best time to look is between 1 and 6am . If you know anyone in the area that feeds and shelters strays, check in with them. She'll be looking for a food source. Get a humane trap ASAP! This it's the best chance at retrieving your cat. Cover the trap with a tarp or blanket. The ONLY food you leave out should be in that trap. Do not leave the trap set for long periods of time unattended, especially overnight. The most importantly do not give up hope! I’ve seen them found after months even years. 🐾❤️🐾 Below are tips suggested by professional cat trappers that I know. Cats typically don't go very far, and are hiding, so you'll have to search for them. Put something outside with the cats scent such as a bed or blanket and something with the families scent outside the home immediately along with some tuna and put it in front of your camera so you are alerted if your cat comes home If you have a garage, leave the door open enough for them to get in ask neighbors to check outbuildings, sheds, garages and ring cam footage. Use a flashlight to look under cars, bushes and up in trees for the glow of the kitties eyes. Go out periodically through out the night shaking treats and calling them. Listen for any responses and watch for movement and/or eyes peering out. buying a live trap and setting within the first 24 hours your cat has been missing is a good idea. Live traps need to be monitored frequently. Posting flyers in your neighborhood is very important to finding your

Please put up flyers all over the neighborhood and ask neighbors to check their garages and sheds. Most cats stay close to home and many people are not on social media - so will never see this post. Flyers encourage local people to keep an eye out for her. Best wishes in finding your sweet Judi. 🙏

Check under bushes and around any buildings at different times of day and night. She could very well still be close to home. If they're scared, they don't go far
