Some people will recommend putting kitty's litter box outside. This may or may not attract wild animals! It's not something you should do! Also, LOOK UP! Kitty made have gotten spooked and could be up in a tree!

Be very careful with putting food outside. Other animals will come for the food. If kitty spots them he/she will stay away. Kitty is probably close by but they hide. Like above poster states, be sure to watch for kitty during the night hours. Posted on Lost and Found animals if Vermont?
