Message from Owner

We lost our Cat Minou on the 25th and we haven’t been able to find him since, he responds very well to treats in a bag ticking your tongue and hearing his name. He’s skittish so if you see him please be careful when approaching him as he might run away, otherwise he’s very friendly and loves being pet. Please reply to this if you have seen any sign of him.

Leave windows open and used laundry around your property.let neighbors know and go door to door and check all shrubs bushes, outbuildings, understairs and under decks in the area. Go out late at night with a bag of treats and a flashlight calling your cats name. Consider getting a trail cam to see if your kitty is coming to visit at night but unable to get close due to a new smell/cat/critter or predator. Call all local humane societies

Have you filed a lost report with OHS (can do on-line)? If he is microchipped contact the chip company to list as missing and to ensure your contact info is up to date. Put his carrier outside along with something with your scent on it. Cats don't generally travel far and are usually found hiding 7-10 houses away - take a flyer with note door-to-door asking neighbours to check their sheds/garages/under decks and door cams. Posters up for blocks in every direction as many people are not on social media. Use a flashlight to check under porches/decks/covered BBQs/bushes and up in trees his eyes will reflect in the light. Leave your door open slightly (secure any other pets in a room) as he may walk himself home/in. When searching/calling, only call when walking homeward so he doesn't follow you further away; when at home call every 10-15 minutes.
