Laura Carroll Grover we took her and got scanned for the chip but the email, address, and number were all contacted and the person who answered was not the owner and the address was not anywhere in Florida. This is our last resort

Sydney Sackett many chips have a secondary contact based on who purchased the chip. If the cat was adopted through the shelter or a reputable rescue the chip should have that organization listed as a back-up. I can help you with that if you want to pm the chip information. Any reputable rescue will take their cat back if it is found and they can decide next steps. I sure hope her people find her. 🩷🩷
