Description

-Large orange/ yellow neutered tabby about 18 pounds with freckles on his nose -Indoor only cat since June 2018 He slipped past someone who opened the door between 7 and 9 pm and we didn't realize he was gone until about 10:30 pm. Lost from Atlas Drive in Waller Ridge in Cartersville. This is near the Shaw plant on 411 South. He lived in woods in Austell before we got him and might go back into wild mode outside. He doesn't usually like strangers and may bap or growl. Please tell me about any sighting so I can go collect him. Our life won't be the same if we can't get him back. Message from Owner

This cat is my husband's and my world. We socialized him from nearly wild. He was 9.6 lbs and nearly starved when we rescued him and now he's over 18 pounds. He's our watchdog. He growls when someone comes to the door or if he sees or hears anything outside. But because he lived on his own before we got him in June 2018, I'm afraid he will go to the woods instead of coming home. We need our boy back.

Susan Hunsinger i was able to borrow a bigger trap. I hadn't thought of a speaker... I'll look for one. The cameras we put around the house have 2 way speakers so I can call him from 4 places outside without going anywhere. I got him on camera for 5 seconds on February 18, so at least he was alive then, but now we have 4 cameras instead of 2 and haven't seen him again.

Jennifer, yes it is sad and I know first hand. Our cat Sam has been lost since Sept 8 (Pawboost #6463700). I try whenever I can to help others out because so many people are looking out for Sam.

I have some traps out, but honestly they look too small for him to get in. He's a pretty big boy and he'd have to crouch and crawl in and since he won't even crawl under the bed, I don't expect him to go in. It's been over a week now and I'm losing hope.
