Description

Description: Little female black chihuahua with white & tan. IV catheter on her front arm when escaped. ‼️ESCAPED‼️ 10yo Rosie escaped from Reno Animal hosp in MWC on Monday, June 2 between 7-8AM. She is partially blind and hard of hearing, Rosie could still have an IV catheter taped to her arm. Possibly in the neighborhoods surrounding this vet clinic. Or near Quinlan Park. Or near Crosby &15th.Street. We ask that you look on your property. Under bushes, cars, porches etc. She is friendly but probably confused and scared. Please DO NOT chase! Calmly get down to her level and speak kindly to her. Take notice of where she is and call the number on this flyer. If you are able to gently catch her, take her to any vet clinic, 24hr. vet clinic or shelter. Or if you are able, bring her with you and immediately call one of these numbers. Please keep her in your prayers. She has been missing for 3 weeks and she could be anywhere by now. If you find her, please call: or

We are still looking. Have put out and handed out flyers and walked and driven all over. We are so worried because it has been 12 hours. She is in need of medical care. And it’s nearly dark.

Also reach out to these rescues as most of them have an extensive group of people that work with them, and they may be able to act quickly if they’re in the area. The teal decal with the glare on it is Pooch Carriage Crew

Put fliers on every intersection you can, facing all directions of traffic. Use a staple gun and sheet protectors if it’s raining. Take those fliers to all vets, groomers, doggy daycares, dog parks, pet supply stores, and anywhere else you can put one. Put one on your front door and mailbox. Mail carriers see all sorts of animals on their route. Check shelters daily. Actually go in though sometimes they’re not great over the phone. Shelters are overcrowded and adopting pets out to strangers way too quickly or putting them to sleep. Please stay on all shelters you can- even if you have to go in twice a day!! Post this on all social media accounts, contact all dog rescues you can. Check Craigslist in list/found/sold. Post this to radio station sites if they have a lost/found section. Take out a newspaper ad in case she’s with someone that reads the paper over using the Internet. Don’t give up. Stay diligent daily!!

We are still out looking for Rosie. As the weather gets hotter, we get more and more concerned. She needs to be back on her IV fluids. If anyone sees her, please contact the Reno animal Hospital. Or any local vet she is microchip when she escaped. She had an IV attached to her front arm. She is 6lbs probably scared thirsty and hungry. We thank you for your help!
