Reposting: Please also consider additional local community chats perhaps there are multiple community chats lots of people post in nextdoor, ring doorbell ap, pawboost is a professionally funded group on fb who allows posts, and lost pet alerts (Indy Lost Pet Alert) or groups can have more steps or databases to post / search for your pet. If your post is set to public or if the group is public the post is easily share able. Though it is best to check back often and person. Then too you can call all nearby vets n pet shelters and leave a description, email or drop Off a photo, with your name and number let them know to be on the lookout, please contact them back after a few days to check again as some pets and pet families will take time before getting there 🙏🐾 Once u have the email u can print at the library or other printing services and place photos around the neighborhood. Reposted: 🐱Lost Cat Tips 🐱 try these tips: Set litter box (please stir the litter box with a stick to get the scent into the air more) and a dirty item/blankets, cat bed, with your homes scent outside your door, along with food/ water covered from weather: Cats can pick up these scents 1-2 miles from home. Also look under all nearby bushes sheds decks cars. Indoor cats don’t typically roam too far from their homes!🙏💕🐱 As you walk around the neighborhood or even on you way home use your voice to call out to your pet. They may be out searching too. Be sure to post as lost on IndyLostPetAlert.com, and or the Next Door app & Neighbors RING app 24petconnect.com Be sure to check with shelters in your area as well. Prayers for a safe return home 🐾💕🐱 🐶LOST DOG TIPS: 🐶 Please *🚨*IMMEDIATELY** set out owners dirty bedding / blankets(fabric dog bed) outside your door (or where they were lost from away from traffic) with their food & water bowls. ( please add smelly meat/high value food on top of their food) The scent can help redirect them back towards home making it easier to find them💕🐾 (Lost pets use their sense of smell the most when lost) Please be sure to post on the NextDoor app & Neighbors RING app , (township/county social media pages) Please be sure to check with all shelters in your county. Post flyers in your area for people who do not have social media Also you can go and look at your shelters. Look in sheds and garages. Talk with delivery people and neighbors. Notify local vets and certainly your vet. and also text pet finder "Policepet” they can help find your precious baby as they help others. 🚨 Please check near area parks, playgrounds, creeks, alleys, and any wooded areas, barns/sheds, under decks, cars, bushes and porches nearby. These are all common places lost dogs travel to when lost Prayers for a safe return home 🐾💕
