** FOUND 2 DOGS/ 1 ALIVE 1 DECEASED Traumatic morning. Was driving down Ellsworth this morning just past Broadway when I saw a dog cross the road. I circled back around to find the little fella, but unfortunately he/she was hit by a car. He/she was a shaggy schnauzer. I rushed to 1st pet but unfortunately, the dog did not make it.The deceased dog was accompanied by another dog (pictured below) that I was able to catch and has no injuries. I am looking for the owner or a foster that can take this poor little baby who just watched her best friend pass away. 1st vet also informed me this little girl has a heart murmur and needs to be on heart . Neither dog is chipper or has a collar. Any leads that would be greatly appreciated. I have three dogs of my own so I really need someone to please take this dog until the owner is found. My dogs are very high energy and this little girl is an old lady and low energy.

🐾 Here are a few things to try if you've found a lost pet in Arizona. The NEIGHBORS by Ring app is amazing! 🎉 It has an impressive success rate, helping reunite about 70% of lost pets with their owners—often within hours. Ring and NEIGHBORS by Ring are two different apps, and you do NOT need a Ring device to use NEIGHBORS. It only takes about 5 minutes to download the app and create a post, making it one of the fastest and most effective ways to help reunite a lost pet with its family.🎉 To quickly reach many people within a three mile radius: ▪️ Post the found pet on NEIGHBORS by Ring. ▪️ Also post on Nextdoor ▪️ Make simple flyers using a piece of paper and a Sharpie. Packing tape works great for hanging them up. ▪️ Place 4–8 flyers at the major intersections closest to where the pet was found. ▪️ Put a box in your front yard and write FOUND DOG or FOUND CAT in big letters so if the owners are driving the neighborhood, hopefully they will see it.🥰 ▪️ Your flyers don't have to be fancy. Just write: FOUND DOG/CAT BREED SIZE COLOR YOUR PHONE NUMBER THAT'S IT! ▪️ Take the pet to any veterinary clinic and have them scanned for a microchip. It's free. ▪️ Don't assume the pet was abandoned. Their family may be desperately searching for them. ❤️ Every post, flyer, and microchip scan increases the chances of a happy reunion. 🐾 13-Year Rescue Advocate And Lost Pet strategist.

Suzy Vujicic-Brock can one of you make sure you get these dogs posted on next door and neighbors by ring? I would start with deceased dog to get attention then going to the post. People will start commenting on it like crazy and that gives you a much better chance of finding the owner quickly.

Suzy Vujicic-Brock she’s currently with a rescue. I think after I post the posters and she isn’t found they will put her up for adoption.

**UPDATE- still no owner. Dog was surrendered to a wonderful rescue called “Underdog” ran by Gwen Miriani thanks to the help of Roberta Gottlieb. Yesterday was ALOT, so today I will go back to the area and post flyers. Thank you to everyone in this community for your help and kind words 🫶
