Black with white paws, white whiskers, white nose, mouth, and tummy. Birthmark under right eye.

FOUND CAT - walking on the Greenbelt and this cat followed me for a while and then back to my apmt at Whitewater Park apmts and seemed to know the area. Does not seem like a stray, so wanted to put an ad out. Seems to be about a year-year and a half and is a male (fairly certain). I am leaving on a trip Monday morning very early, so if no one claims him by tomorrow at 5:30pm, I will be taking him to Idaho Humane Society!

FYI there's an epidemic of people taking healthy cats out of their environment for being outside off leash and a big argument nationally among shelters and big cities about people doing this cause it's flooding shelters and It can be well meaning but can literally destroy the cats life. Also takes shelter resources from cats that are in bad shape. Realize if you take him to the shelter, he may not get re homed. He might just get euthanized. We 100% euthanize at our shelters when there's overcrowding. If he looked really bad that would be diff but as you mentioned this is "someone's pet". What if they are out of town and by the time they get back the cat has been euthanized at the humane society?

Did you check for a chip? My moms tux lives right there but he has a clipped ear. Anyway I finally got him chipped and vaxed but they let him walk the greenbelt. My thought is if he looks like he isn't homeless maybe let him back out. He likely lives In those apartments.
