URGENT: Cat disappeared at Montréal-Trudeau Airport two weeks ago — family needs help finding her Good morning everyone, Passenger: Al Batikhi Abir Munir Othman Mrs (ADT) Booking ref: HDTXCD Ticket number:651 Caramel microchiped 152 My name is Abir Al-Batikhi, and am urgently asking for your help regarding my missing cat, Caramel Caramel is a white-and-orange, microchipped female cat who has been part of my family for seven years. She went missing while travelling with me on Royal Jordanian flight RJ271 from Amman to Montréal on August 17, 2026. I was travelling with four cats and one piece of luggage. All four cats were checked in with Royal Jordanian in Amman. Their carriers were inspected, secured and tagged, and all of their passports, vaccination records and medical documents were checked by Royal Jordanian staff. When I arrived in Montréal, one of the four carriers was returned to me OPEN and EMPTY. Caramel was missing. I immediately reported the situation to Royal Jordanian staff at Montréal airport. Unfortunately, I was initially told that I could not make a missing-cat claim. I was told that Caramel was still on the aircraft because the flight was continuing to Toronto, and I was instructed to go home while they searched for her in Toronto and contacted me. Royal Jordanian staff took all five of my tags — the four cat tags and my luggage tag. However, only my missing luggage was registered as a claim. I was not allowed to make a proper claim for my missing cat. Mr. Fareed, the Royal Jordanian manager, later contacted me personally and gave me a Swiss telephone number, telling me that the disappearance of my cat was not Royal Jordanian's responsibility. I find this extremely concerning, particularly because the carrier containing my cat was returned to me open and empty after being in Royal Jordanian's custody. I believe the aircraft should not have been allowed to continue from Montréal to Toronto without first properly investigating the fact that an animal was missing from an open carrier ,this is not simply a matter of missing luggage. Caramel is a living animal and a member of my family. She has been with me for seven years, and I am terrified that she is alone inside or around the airport, without food, water or adequate shelter. I am extremely distressed and have been unable to sleep because I cannot stop thinking about her being lost and frightened. I am not asking for anything complicated. I simply want my cat brought home safely, and I want a proper investigation into how this happened so that the people responsible for handling her can take the necessary steps to find her. Please,I am asking you personally to help me make sure this matter receives the urgency and attention it deserves. I would be extremely grateful if you could help me to find Caramel that you help locate Caramel. She had been missing forr 14 days Please she will die from hunger and sick She is hiding in terminal 3 Last seen was She running to gate 29- 30.
