Bastian is our big sweet boy and he’s been missing for about a week now. We were getting him used to occasionally being outdoors in our backyard and he was good at coming to the door when he wanted in/out. We think he may have chased something out of the yard and lost his way. We’ve been extremely worried about him and have looked for him with treats, recordings of us crumpling up his food bag (he would dart out of any place with that noise) and calling out his nickname (Baba), but we haven’t found him yet. We know he’s resourceful so we’re hoping for the best but need help finding him. Please reach out if you see him.

Hi Miriam. I just drove over there and surprisingly found that cat immiediately in someones front yard. It was not Bastian unfortunately. Much smaller from the side angle, and different patterns. Thank you so much for reaching out though!

Go outside AT NIGHT with FOOD and call and look for him!!! This is how I FOUND MY CAT after a WEEK! She was hiding close by in the storm drain next to my house!!!! She was sleeping down in the storm drain during the day and coming out at NIGHT to eat the food I had put out for the stray kitties in my area! She was SO CLOSE and I didn’t know it, BUT, I FOUND HER because I didn’t give up!!! DO NOT give up! Bastian may be hiding in a storm drain that is close to your house and you will never see him! Put stinky food at the mouth of the storm drain close to you and call down into it! Monitor the food and listen for him to meow at you, which is what mine did!!!! Look with a flashlight under bushes, under cars, up trees, neighbors porches and yards etc. Check neighbors garages, sheds, etc to make he isn’t TRAPPED somewhere!!! Also look at 3am - 5am as this is when they come out of hiding!!! Many have seen their cats on their doorbell cameras at this time!!!!🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Janice Bradshaw Yes i posted on Ring and next door but haven't had any responses unfortunately. Thank you for all the tips and info. I will file the Frisco lost pet report and make sure his chip information is correct. So far I've been leaving the garage cracked and having food and clothes by the door. The last two nights I've walked around for an hour but only found lots of rabbits. I would've started searching sooner, but it was difficult with all the rain.
