Cats dont wander far but they hide, get disoriented and dont respond to calls. place fliers on porches up and down block. talk to neighbors. post signs. I found my cat after 6 wks bc a neighbor 5 doors away called me when she spotted my cat in her front bushes where I had stood and called my cat dozens of times. The neighbor had kept the flier. Call for them when it's quiet.

I tell everyone to go to tractor supply and get a live animal trap put wet food in it covered with a dark blanket and check it every couple hours. I’ve done it several times. It has worked every time, including when we were traveling it took a week to catch the cat in the woods, but we did it! Just keep at it keep checking it every couple hours and don’t give up Cats. Don’t go far for the first week..
