Message from Owner

My cat Dex has been missing since Aug 27th. My fur baby is 9 yrs old and is the biggest baby. He is very friendly, loving and sweet. I rescued him when he was 3 weeks old and bottle feed him and did everything in my power to keep him alive, and that we did! He came into mine and my son's life at a time that little did we know we needed him as much as he needed us. He was our very first cat who needed lots of love and attention! and gave and showed us so much more love then we could ever ask for! We are absolutely heartbroken and need anyones help to bring our baby back home. He is part of our family and find it totally out of character that he would just go missing as he had never ventured far, usually always stuck close to our hse and he always came back home when we called for him. its totally unusual for him to just all of a sudden just be "gone" He was more an inside cat but as i said he did did go outside but always came back. Bc he was young he used to suckle on my ear bc he was so young when he was abandoned from his feline mother. and never grew out of it. We are so very heartbroken and need your help in bringing my fur baby back home. Please we need anyone's help in finding him. He is nurtured and also has been micro-chipped. We believe that he has been tooken from around his hse, maybe somebody thought he was a stray. Plus he is such a beautiful boy! He is so very special to us and we need all the help we can to bring him safely back home. He is part Main Coon and a very handsome boy. He goes by Dex or Dexy and loves his temptation treats and fancy feast pate white tuna fish can food. We think he may be inside an Apt or might of got spooked because of the big construction building being built right across the Rd. Please if anyone has any information leading to him being reunited to us we will forever be grateful! There is currently a 500$ reward for his safe return back to his family. There's also a smaller reward for any information of his whereabouts. Ty so much. Phone number is

Tips - Borrowed from another: These tips have been proven time and time again to work, please take the time to do them, it all helps! And it's important to do them as soon as possible. Good luck! (Admin) 🗞 POSTERS/FLIERS HAVE PROVEN TO BE SUCCESSFUL AND YOU NEED TO START ASAP GOING DOOR TO DOOR AND HANDING THEM OUT! ***POSTERS, POSTERS, POSTERS ARE KEY!!!***** 🗣Go talk to your neighbors and surrounding areas and hand out posters. Talk to people on the street. You will be surprised at how helpful they will be! If no one is home, put the poster in the mailbox. Put posters on poles, vet offices, corner stores, grocery stores, etc. And check around restaurants and such where there may be a food source. 👚🍗Put a piece of clothing or blanket with the scent of the person he likes most with some food and water outside in a sheltered area. It is advised by experts to not use litterboxes any more as the scent also attracts predators and other cats which can actually keep your cat from returning. 🗣It is best to call for kitty late at night or early morning as they will usually hide during the day. 🔦Search low to the ground and under every nook and cranny or hole that a cat can climb in or get under. Chances are, your kitty may still be very close, they usually will not travel very far. Get a good bright flashlight! 🆘️ Ask your neighbors to check their sheds, baby barns and garages as soon as possible as kitty may have been locked inside. 🚪🪟Cats are very territorial, if possible, leave a window or door open. Many have returned and ran back in the house on their own. ☎️ Call your local vets to see if a cat matching this description has been brought in there & call the local SPCA and better yet, bring a picture in to those places. 🆘️Ask around for any "CAT PEOPLE" in your area...they know and see all concerning kitties! 🦞 If there are lobster traps in the area, please check them. There has been numerous cats trapped in those recently! ❤️🐾❤️Most importantly, DO NOT GIVE UP!!! THEY NEED YOU!!! ❤️🐾❤️ Some of these tips will help you find your indoor/outdoor kitty too 🙏🏻 I believe the SPCA rents live traps…
