Please be careful with whom you give your dog, cat any animal to. I had been in rescue for over 45 years and people lie. I would do an interview over the phone. I would have a list of questions that would make a difference to me regarding how my pet would live. ask them for their veterinarians phone number and make sure it is a Veterinarian location. If they have never had a veterinarian nor a pet is that the type of person you want your pet to spend the rest of its life with? Ask for a professional reference from where they work. Get their address and visit their home take pictures. Take a picture of their drivers license. If you really love your pet and it’s just impossible to maintain at least make the effort to make sure it goes to a good home, a forever home. The dog fighting rings have gotten out of control. Your pet could be a perfect bait dog/cat/ pet. Please do the research. I’m only trying to help.
