Check near water sources as dogs naturally head towards them, sometimes can't get back up the embankment. Also check the bottom of hills as older dogs can't climb back up. Look under bushes, people's decks, may have crawled into an area and can't get back out. Important to get posters up for sightings, if new sightings in a day or two expand the area
