Just got to tractor supply get a live animal trap put wet food in it cover it with a dark blanket and check it every couple hours. You may need to do this for a week or two but Cats when they get out don’t typically go more than seven or eight houses away at least for the first week they just hunker down. I have caught all of my cats that ever got out the same way but I did catch a possum or two also so just beware they don’t hurt you. They don’t have diseases just open it and let them out. I even caught my cat once when we were traveling from Texas to Virginia, and we got there at midnight, he jumped out of my arms into the woods, and we still caught him in our trap a week later. They actually work! One of my cats was friendly in my house, but acted like he didn’t even know me if he got outside. He went across the street where he was living when I found him years before that. In an apartment complex. It took me two weeks, but I caught him in the trap at two in the morning. Cover with a dark blanket because if there’s sprinklers, they get wet. That’s what happened to mine.
