Message from Finder

This is at the office I work from. This kitty has been hiding in the corner of our stairs that is blocked off so it’s safe there right now. I have a trap up but kitty is very scared and hasn’t moved from this spot all morning. I’ll stay today until either it goes into trap or leaves the stairs

Sara Romero yay! Thank you for rescuing kitty. I’m so glad she’s safe now. The poor kitty looks so scared. I usually post the below on Nextdoor: Please ask for proof of ownership like pictures or paperwork . Unfortunately sometimes people take an animal for nefarious purposes like dog bait or torture videos. Recently a person found a puppy and followed my advice and it turned out three different people tried to claim ownership, but did not have any pictures. It’s concerning people would lie to get an animal that’s not theirs.

I was able to grab kitty and put her in a carrier, she’s in my possession and safe. I’ll bring her home and check a chip

Erica Baldwin no, but I have a trap set up right now. The stairs kitty is in don’t get used by our staff and would need a key to get in there so he’s safe for now. I don’t want to scare kitty and it run away so hopefully he’s hungry and takes the bait.
