Message from Owner

LOST CAT! Please help us find our cat, Jinx! He left out of the doggy door sometime on the evening of Sept 7th, and never made it home. We have been desperately searching for him and calling his name. We have left food out, along with his scent. I feel like if he COULD get home he would be. If you have seen him or know anything, please contact me ASAP. We miss him so much!😢

Spiro-Rescue (sometimes referred to in comment sections by variations like "spiro rescue") is a fraudulent social media entity widely reported by animal advocates and users as a scam that preys on people searching for missing pets. How the Spiro-Rescue Scam WorksComment Section Trolling: Scammers monitor missing pet posts, local lost-and-found animal pages, and hashtags (such as PawBoost listings), leaving comments telling distraught owners to contact "Spiro-Rescue" because they are supposedly "incredibly effective" or helped find a pet in days.Stolen Content: The profile typically uses stolen logos and photographs hijacked from legitimate animal rescue organizations.Financial Extortion: Once desperate owners reach out, the fake organization or associated scammers request upfront rehoming fees, donations, or banking/personal information under the guise of funding a search or medical rescue.

PLEASE READ!! I SWEAR BY THIS!! It's worked every time for me. Get a humane trap and bait it with mackerel. Make the trap the only option for the food. Will probably only catch him at night. I put it by the front door or on the porch. I see posts all the time where people say put food out. They'll eat it and leave. 3 of 4 I did this with were looking right at me from between 4 and 10 ft. I approached and they ran. Two were lap cats. Makes no sense. It won't work. Make the trap the only option and never give up. I've trapped them after 3 days, 4 days, a week and even 5 weeks!! Just change out the food daily. Harbor Freight has good prices on traps.

Post on Pawboost and Nextdoor. Check with area shelters daily and go there in person too. Post signs.
