Devon ShantzI just want to say that you are very rude. I am not one of those people that just lets my cats out. Are you crazy? She is an indoor only cat. I have FERAL ear tipped cats. They showed up I had them fixed and ear tipped. Please stop commenting on my posts.

Mason Amanda Burlingham That warms my heart to know you take care of feral cats…I’m a caregiver of 5 feral cats…but my heart is heavy for you that your cat is still missing. What I will say is pet cats are not as street smart as feral cats but I have rescued several that had been missing for months. So they are able to survive in the wild for longer than you’d think. They just unfortunately have travelled too far from home, causing them to lose the scent of where home is. Also, people who let their pet cats out def don’t help the situation. By doing that, it makes it very hard for people to be able to tell if a cat is lost or if it’s a cat that belongs to a neighbor who’s letting the cat outside. Because of that, less and less people are searching to see if a cat they see is lost, they won’t take it inside, won’t report it as being seen or found. I don’t want to make things worse but need to say this in hopes that you won’t do it again…you are one of those people that lets your cat out, therefore you are part of the reason why your cat has probably not been searched, taken in or reported as found. Unless a person knows how to tell the diff between a feral cat, stray pet cat and indoor/outdoor pet cat, it could take weeks for your cat to be reported/reunited with you. Don’t give up hope, don’t stop searching/putting the word out. Edit your pawboost post …add a word, anything….by doing that, it will bring your post back to the top of the list. Im keeping you and your fur baby in my thoughts and prayers. 🐾💕

Devon ShantzThank you so much for taking the time to respond! I have talked to my neighbors to keep an eye out. Unfortunately the cat posted isn’t ours. Very close look alike though. We have two feral cats that live outside. I hoped she would at least follow them home, but she hasn’t.

I forgot to mention, one time one of my feral cats got into my neighbor’s crawl space when the door was left open. My neighbor shut the door, not knowing the cat was under the house and the cat was trapped for 3 days. My neighbor said it was his dog that let him know something was trapped in the crawl space.

He won’t go far ( 75% are found within 100 to away ) Get a humane trap ( with fav food and old clothes he has a scent of)or 2 from Tractor Supply He’s under something , scared but instincts will400 ft take over and he will hunt for food at night They are very good at hiding And will not come to you in an outside setting He will come out at night . Stay positive , you will get him back Make posters with phone number ( make phone number big so people can see it from vehicle )and get most neighbors contacts for sightings It all worked for me after a month I got my cat back Don’t give up Handsome boy 🙏🙏🙏

Check under pushes and porches. Cats usually don’t travel far. Put her food and a piece of worn clothing out, she may catch your scent
