Our dog has never been afraid of fireworks but someone shot off some extra loud ones last night and he broke his leash and collar and took off like a bat outta . We searched for over 2hrs. He is just over a year old and weighs between 70-90lbs... he's a big baby, clutz, and an overall goofball. Answers to Teddy or Theodore. Last seen just west of Angle on Orange. We have searched everywhere within a 1 mile status.

Update: Thank you SO much for all of the prayers, shares, and people searching for Teddy! He came home late Monday night early Tuesday morning after being gone 10 days (the gate was closed and locked; the only way he could have gotten in was the same way he left). He came through the yard, into our kitchenette, opened my sons door, and jumped up into his bed crying and shaking. He has lost 15-20lbs. His nails look the same as when he got lose but he has several cuts that look like partial bite marks. He does not want to be away from anyone... his entire demeanor has changed drastically. He wont go potty in the yard without one of us being with him (he stays right next to us) and he is shaking all the time and whimpering a lot; as soon as he goes potty he darts back in really fast (leaving the family member out with him in the dust). There are other issues with him which leads me and many others to believe someone took him and starved him to see if he could be used in fighting; once they realized he was too sweet to use they dropped him back off in the trailer park. This is so sad and upsetting! We will be working to re-adjust him to the life he had before he went missing. I make our dogs food from scratch and added kibble, now I will be adding extra protein kibble and more gizzards/chicken livers to help him gain some of the weight back slowly that he has lost in his harrowing and scary adventure, but it is worth it to help our boy because he is such an important part of our family. Thank you again to everyone that has helped search, reposted, and all the prayers!
