Velma Christman eight months ago I moved into an apartment from my parents’ house where she used to go outside. I’m doing those things you suggested, thank you. I’m sure she’s very scared and hiding. She was outside at 10:30 PM for literally a few seconds right by the door with me crouching there petting her. Then the upstairs neighbor was walking to his apartment and she ran past him and disappeared, and I searched for her for hours.

Has she been outside before? If not she is scared and hiding. Put things out with your scent. Usually cats move around in evening sit outside then and call her
