Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck 🍀finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

SHOULD/COULD still be close by UNLESS taken. (Kitties will definitely seek shelter in colder, frosty, wintery weather, in shade in high heat, and they definitely don't like the wind or the rain so would definitely hide or shelter nearby.) Check under decks, steps, shrubs and vegetation in the yard. Check up trees and power posts, even roofs. Check in garages and sheds and along alley fence lines inbetween garages and the alley. Put up posters everywhere in your area, put fliers into neighbors mailboxes; contact Animal Control, give them all your and kitty's information, including name, colour whethered spayed or neutered, city tag information (do not post City tag ID number) in case someone is able to hold onto kitty and report to these agencies giving them the tag number and Animal Control or SPCA can find you through the license tag number.... ( ... It should be noted that SPCA does SOMETIMES take on animals from Animal Control...I specifically paid an "in-person" visit to the new facilities and asked them specifically about this issue and was told that they do sometimes help out despite the fact that many of their pets are "surrendered ....) .... they'll have your information and THEY will call you and tell you your kitty is safe at someone's place and give you that information. They DO NOT give your information to the person who has found and is keeping your pet safe for your pickup. *** IF you put its litter box outside be prepared to sit by and monitor it as it will attract other kitties who may prevent your kitty from coming home, by scaring or bullying your kitty away *** If you see your kitty stay calm and APPROACH SLOWLY, shake treat bag gently or not at all because you do not want to spook kitty causing it to bolt. Don't say kitty's name loudly. Speak softly and gently. Use a flashlight if searching at night, eyes reflect light. If you're able to please check your doors often at night. Create a safe spot using a cardboard box sheltered from the elements of the weather adding some of kitties blankets, a sweater that has your scent on it, kitties basket, pillow. Put out some of your dirty clothes so they can smell their way home. Could be close by. Go out after dark when it is quieter outside, with a flashlight so you can see the eyes. Look under stairs, decks, shrubs, and anywhere small they can crawl into to hide. Look up in trees, poles, fences, and roofs. Ask neighbors to check their garages in case they accidentally got locked in as not everyone is on Facebook or will see this post. Check outdoors several times throughout the night as they sometimes come back at night when things quiet down. If possible, leave a door or window partly open so they I can come in on their own. I hope your cat comes home 🏡 soon 🐱🐈 🐶 🐕 Good advice from (Facebook) Barbara Clemons. Many missing cats are hunkered down near their homes and may be afraid to come out or unable to find their way home. But cats have an incredible sense of smell and can detect familiar odors from some distance so try these things, all of which need to be placed outside in a dry place: 1. An item or two of your clothing that you have worn but not yet laundered; 2. A rug or blanket or plush toy of kitty's; 3. A dish of smelly canned cat food; be mindful of attracting other animals. 4. Use electric can opener outside so kitty might hear it; 5. A container with a cup or so of used kitty litter. 6. Play familiar sounds for them to follow. All of these items will create a veritable smorgasbord for your cat to recognize! Also, if you have a garage, leave the door up a few inches so your cat can get inside. 7. When posting, please include where your pet was lost. 8. If chipped contact the company your pet is missing. 9. Please give out more information on location other than just city, nearby intersection. Neighborhood you live in. Good luck! I know only too well the heartbreak from a missing furbaby!❤ Smells could welcome unwanted guests? P.S. Should apply to many different pets?
