General information: Set up a scent station. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house. (EX. Worn clothing / shoes from family member dog lives with). Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media) Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing and to see if it has been picked up.

Check the surrounding shelters every day, not just the one in your city. Someone may have picked the dog up and not live near you, then dropped the dog at a shelter near them. It’s easy to do, go on their websites and scan the pictures. Also, go in person sometimes they hold dogs in the back that are not in the pictures. And also put posters up, because not everyone is on social media.

Also check this shelter. It’s for La Puente Residents. VIDA RESCUE, 19142 E. Walnut Dr. N, Rowland Heights. Their phone number is 626-374-1551, but you must go in person and look. People don't always take the time and check to see if they are there. They are open from 10:00 - 2:00.

🐶 Look and post on Ring, Facebook, and Nextdoor. (If you add your phone number on your Pawboost post in the space provided, you will be contacted much sooner than you would by email). 🐶 Look on Petcolove, 24petconnect. Check ALL shelters, even ones far outside your area in person. 🐶 Post flyers in the neighborhood. 🐶 Ask your neighbors if they saw her. Someone could have seen her and is keeping her safe. 🐶 Have them check their security cameras if they have them. 🐶 Also ask the postman, UPS, Amazon, anyone else that comes by your house regularly. 💖💖I hope you find Teddy soon. 🙏🙏
