Mia is a princess, loved by everyone at home, even the neighbors adore her. But I was a bad mother, yes, because to her, who is a dog, I am her mother, and I shouldn't have been so distracted. A few minutes later, Mia disappeared. I can't stop thinking that if she were a child, I wouldn't leave her out of my sight for a second. So I was negligent. A dog expects protection from its owner; it trusts us. I learned my lesson; I will never again leave Mia out of my sight for a second when the front door opens.
