🐈‍⬛ MISSING BLACK CAT – PLEASE HELP US FIND WHIZZY 🖤 Our beloved cat, Whizzy, escaped on Saturday, August 1, after his carrier unexpectedly opened outside Racine Veterinary hosp. He ran across Taylor Avenue into the nearby neighborhood with the cul-de-sac and large backyards. He is: 🖤 All black 💚 Bright green eyes 😿 Very shy and scared 🐟 Loves tuna ✅ Microchipped 💵 Cash reward offered Please DO NOT CHASE HIM. If he feels threatened, he’ll likely run and hide again. If you see him, please call or text us right away and, if possible, keep an eye on him from a distance. 📞 If you live nearby, would you please check: * Under decks and porches * Under sheds * In bushes and window wells * Inside garages before closing them * Around wood piles and other sheltered hiding spots Indoor cats often stay very close to where they escaped and hide silently for several days. We are absolutely heartbroken and just want to bring our sweet boy home. Even the smallest sighting could help. Please share this post with anyone in the Racine/Mount Pleasant area. Lost cats Search for him/ her using a flashlight. He/ she will be frightened and will hide. It also might not respond to your calling him/ her. A flashlight will reflect in the eyes, allowing you to see it in dark spaces. Use it day and night.

Hope u find your kitty❤️ Put food near your door. Place a baby monitor and/or home security camera near the food so you can hear/see when your cat is there eating and go and get him/her. Check MADACC and other humane societies. Post on Lost Cats of Wisconsin. Keep checking each day! Check under bushes and other places in your yard and neighborhood to see if he is hiding there. Cats become scared and won't come when called. Don't give up. People find their cats months later. My friend found their cat 3 months after it got lost. It was hiding under a bush in the neighborhood, not coming when called and acting feral… very scared! Prayers! Hope u find your kitty❤️ Put food near your door.
