Thank you for caring, posting and checking if the pet is microchiped! Unregistered chips can sometimes be traced to an owner thru the implanter info which is on all chips. Maybe reach out to a rescue for assistance. I'm sure you are doing all of this. I'm just sharing incase there is a new idea... Please put up flyers as far out possible as not all owners are on social media and visibility is key. Alert the local shelters that you have the pet and post a flyer there too as that is where most owners start their search. Post on Nextdoor and with local rescues, Vet offices and pet stores too. Thanks again for caring, good luck! Ps: If you can not keep the pet safe while searching for the owner and holding for the legally required time period, the best option is to take it to the closest shelter to where found. Please don't foster with a stranger or anyone out of the area where found. I
