Summer was in bed with me when I went to sleep last night. She never goes out except to sit on the patio. She must have jumped the 8 ft privacy fence. However she was not feeling all that well last night. She's almost 14 and I've been searching the neighborhood since 6am. I'm very worried as she is very thin and needs her

I am so sorry to hear your kitty has gone missing!! I hope this is not the case and that your baby gets home to you soon!!! BUT, you mentioned she was not feeling well and that it is unlike her to leave the patio, which makes me wonder if maybe she was near her end. Cats will act out of character at that point and will make great efforts to go and hide. Look in dark quiet places around your house. In bushes, behind and underneath things. Praying you find her soon!!!

Helen Suzuki Sakamoto first of all, I NEVER let her out of the enclosed patio! Second, it's NOT your BUSINESS to tell me what you think might have happened! You have NO idea! So SHUT you face! I'm a great pet parent and always have been! She was ill! Apparently, you don't know what sick senior cats do! How rude of you!

Why would you let a senior kitty go outside for when there are A LOT of coyotes in Redondo Beach? They are out hunting for food 24/7! There was a post of a coyote with an orange cat in its mouth recently posted either on Nextdoor or Ring Neighbors.🙁😔😢 Your kitty probably sadly became a coyote victim.😢😭💔
