Nancy Oastler sorry, we didn't exchange contact info. As a dog mama I could tell they were the right people. But noted for next time - didn't think about that possibility, and just want to say how super impressed I am with this group! 😍🙏🏻

Thank you for keeping safe, file a found report with OHS (can do on-line) and with 311 ByLaw. If able, take to any vet/animal hospital to be scanned for a microchip (no charge) in hopes of locating the owner. If unable to hold til owner found, ask ByLaw to come to pick up, they will take to OHS. Send a p.m. to Ottawa and Valley Lost Pet Network and they will post for you as well. Also post on Lost & Found Pets Of Ottawa And Surrounding Areas. I have shared to Kanata/Stittsville and Surroundings Lost & Found Pets please watch those sites for any comments. If someone claims, ask for proof of ownership (family pics with dog, vet bills, City tag info etc).
