Blk n white tuxedo kitty

This kitty came into my yard for over a month and began to stay, it was always really hungry and thirsty. It slept on my patio furniture and let me pet it. I could see it wasn't going to leave so I took it to the vet to make sure it was healthy and to get it neutered. It is still at the vet. Does this cat belong to anyone? Was it previously vaccinated as a kitten?
