Require proof of ownership. File online found reports with shelters. Take by vet to scan for chip. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers.

Include a number to contact you in every post.Need to make sure you put on Nextdoor App and Neighbor'sring App not everybody uses the same apps.Post to Antelope lost and found pets Facebook Group and Elverta..Put on North Highlands/Rio Linda Lost and found pets Facebook Group.When found in Sacramento County you need to make sure you file a found report with Bradshaw shelter their jurisdiction.. Please have any Vet do the first scan for a microchip. If it's not detected make sure you have Bradshaw do a second scan.There so tiny many times missed on one scanner and detected on the next.It's even happened to me and others I know.Even if chipped please get proof of ownership. Any way you're willing to foster?? Shelters are beyond full

Proof of ownership including photos and details of description only an owner would know is so important to keep this pup safe. Best to take and get scanned for an ID chip. Vets all do it for free, and Bradshaw will too. Thank you for saving this cutie! Have fun together for now☺️☮️
