My cat escaped my backyard a few years ago. I went looking for her at dusk. I found her 4 houses down, sitting on a pole, maybe looking out for me. She recognized my voice, and came when I called her. Hope you get your kitty back.

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. Brenna Hayes I know this is not ideal, but if you can, leave your door open a little bit and put out your worn clothing and some food. We did this and our cat came home in the middle of the night after missing for 3 days.
